Hello everyone! It’s Katelyn. I am taking over the blog today because today’s featured wedding is near and dear to my heart!

I have known Madison since she was a little girl and she has always been beautiful and sincere. I have loved watching her grow into the amazing woman she is today. But there was something about watching her fall in love with Dylon that was so special.

I had the honor of helping Madison prepare for her big day. She wanted a simple wedding with greenery and lots of candles. But most importantly, she wanted her closest friends and family to celebrate her marriage to the love of her life.

The wedding took place at her grandparent’s house and was intimate and nothing short of beautiful. There was no denying the love Dylon held for Madison. I could see it in the way he looked at her.

The wedding ceremony was emotional, sweet and thoughtful. They were married by Dylon’s older brother Dusty, who did a great job delivering a beautiful message.

My favorite thing about their wedding was that the day was all about them. It wasn’t about the decorations, the food, the party... it wasn't about any of those things. It was simply all about them and the joining of their two families.

How can I describe their wedding? Their wedding was sweet. It was sentimental in every way. The first dance was so passionate and moving. There was such a strong sense of community and family there... I get chills just thinking about it.

If you live in the Central Texas area, you are probably familiar with Momma Miller and Miller’s BBQ - Dylon just happens to be one of the Miller boys and in true Momma Miller fashion, she was whipping up some sweet treats the morning of the wedding. Yes, she was fully dressed and in full hair and makeup, with an apron on... might be one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. The bundt cakes were a true labor of love, and delicious too!

Madison purchased a multi-colored boho rug which was the inspiration for her color palette. She carried a lush bouquet full of colorful blooms while the rest of her decor was full of greenery and candles. We repurposed her bridal bouquet as well as some of the candles and made a cute cake display on a gold bar cart. This wedding was a perfect example of how sometimes less can be more.

With their perfect fairytale ending, the newlyweds danced the night away with their closest friends and families by their side. It was a night no one will forget! Especially me.

Congratulations Dylon and Madison! Thank you for letting me be apart of your special day. I wish y’all many years of love and happiness!
