Love at first site can mean many different things. In this case, we are talking about wedding venues!
Choosing your wedding venue is one of the most important parts of your wedding planning process. Here at The Book of Beautiful Weddings, we like to help our blushing brides ease through these exciting times. Let's dive into two helpful hints for choosing your picture-perfect wedding venue.
1. Budget
We know wedding planning can be a stressful process especially when it comes to comparing price tags. One thing you will want to consider is whether or not a particular venue fits into your bridal budget. If you happen to be on a tight budget, some venues may be able to work with you! Don't be afraid to ask if there are any price breaks. Some wedding venues offer price breaks based on seasonal changes. They may even offer discounts depending on the day of the week you plan to have your event.
2. Amenities
While looking through wedding venues, make sure your designated venue has all of the amenities you're looking for. Some venues may come with wedding packages whether that involves food, music or even specific decor. What bridal esthetic are you looking for?
Are you a Classic Romantic Bride?...
If so, try looking into gardens, estates, chapels, mansions, ballrooms, tents, hotels and even vineyards.
Modern Brides?
You can find your inspiration from many of our vendor-venues with clean lines and modern elements. Our modern brides love stylistic hotels or even the creativity from museums.
Bohemian Brides?
This whimsical style can be easily be found throughout Central Texas. We suggest finding your bohemian style through industrial venues such as barns or tents.
Rustic Brides?
Well, we are in Texas after all! Get a little country by scoping out barns, tents, farms or chapels.

When picking a venue, ask yourself the following questions:
Date: Is the date you and your significant other have on your hearts available?
Capacity: How many guests can this venue comfortably accommodate for both the ceremony and reception?
Hours: How many hours are included in the venue rental? Can you add hours? If so, what is the additional rate?
Tables and Chairs: How many are included in the rental?
Weather Plan: What does a rain plan look like for this specific location?
Catering and Alcohol: Are there any restrictions?
Security: What are your security requirements and/or fees?
Planner/ Coordinator: Is there a planner/coordinator requires?
Preferred Vendor List: Is there a preferred vendor list? Is it required to choose vendors from that list?
